The Nokia 5800 is often thought to be the first Nokia touchscreen mobile phone. However, in 2003 the Finnish company already launched the Nokia 7710 with a large touchscreen, and since then, no new models were added. This model did not become a success, partly due to the strange way of calling with this device. The microphone and the speaker were placed on the side, making it rather awkward to hold the cell phone. At present, the 5800 XpressMusic is able to strengthen Nokia's portfolio and battle the touchscreen phones of other brands, this phone has latest music sensation. With a touchscreen, 3.2 Megapixel digital camera featuring a Carl Zeiss lens, built-in GPS antenna, HSDPA support and Wi-Fi, this Nokia Mobile phone is extremely versatile, and not only when it comes to putting music on it. Its features the Symbian operating system, but in a nice playful version.Touch is hot business at this time, and combined with Symbian S60 software, it is also well-applicable.The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic offers a sharp touch screen and compact design. The display is relatively responsive.Items get opened quickly when we selected them and we didn't have to press too hard on the display, you can use your finger or the included stylus. However, it's a little confusing in that some items respond to a single tap, while some require double taps. But like most other touch-screen phones, scrolling is not quite as fluid as on the iPhone. You can adjust the calibration and have a host of choices for the handwriting option. The display has vibration feedback, but the intensity is not customizable.
